Confession
Hi, my name is Robin and I'm an ebay addict.
I admit that I am powerless over ebay. Grant me the serenity to accept the auctions I don't win, the strength to keep on bidding, and the wisdom to stop at ten bucks.
I'm a crap connoisseur. I love crap. Old postcards, history books, pretty little pins and old Nintendo games. We haven't yet had to upgrade from a Super Nintendo System from the "old days" to a Wii because I'm still able to get replacement parts and more games from Ebay.
It's a lot like gambling, and I know my limit and play within it. Something has to be pretty darn special for me to bid $10 on it. I don't think I can count on the fingers of one hand how many times I went over that and got something really special--although once I did spend over $100 on a set of Hummingbird Crystal. Oh I know, I didn't really NEED Hummingbird Crystal, but I started aquiring my pieces (they are from Avon) back in the 1980's when we lived in North Carolina. Now you can no longer buy them new, so I thought finding a whole set someone was ready to part with was a chance I'd probably never get again. Plus they were available for pick up so I didn't have to pay shipping.
I've sold a couple of things through ebay as well, but it's tons more fun to BID BID BID!
