Life in the Crypto Zoo

Yesterday I accepted a position as Director of Cryptozoology at PSICAN (Paranormal Studies and Investigations Canada).  Ive been with this organization before, administratively as well as director of Toronto Ghosts and as media liason.  I continued as a consultant with them before branching out to do other projects.

Cryptozoology has long been a hobby of mine.  It involves studying reports of animals not yet officially discovered.  Things like bigfoot, mothman, chupacabra, and the like.  I have a little knowledge and a lot of heart when it comes to this, so I think it will fit nicely.

But boy do I have a lot to learn.  In this role I will be advising others and helping with thier research into these beings.  That means I have to be well versed so I will be doing a lot of researching and writing papers.

It's a fun way to expand my hobby!  There won't be a lot of field work which is good since Im not that great out in the field.  But researching and writing and drumming up interest, that I can do.  Looking forward to it!
