Havent stopped by in awhile.  I'd like to think Ive been too busy, but mostly I just havent.

My computer is soooooo almost dead.  Doug says I can have a new one next month if they go on sale.  We picked a nice one--full media center.  I can tivo!  But mostly I can stop rebuilding every weekend.

My mom is off to Alaska on Saturday.  She sent me this morbid email, but Im sure she was just being efficient.  She's like that.  Very efficient.  Anyhoo its got her lawyer's phone number and various other contact info (including her executor of her will) Just in case this cruise turns out to be the Titanic I guess.  Ah well, she's 64 so I probably should know these things anyway.

Funny that she listed me as the emergency contact.  She lives in Columbus, OH.  My daughter (age 22) also lives in Columbus.  My sister lives about 5 hours away in Beckley, WV.  I live in Toronto, Ontario.  Weird.  I don't know whether to be flattered that she chose me or pissed off that I have to be the responsible one.

The running joke over this is that if anything should happen to her I'd just put her in the trunk of the car.  If you are a member of my family you will know why that's funny.  If you're not, oh well.

Im off to WV the first weekend of July.  Got a nice suite booked overlooking the river in Point Pleasant.  It also happens to be haunted.  Im hoping to do some research while there, but mostly will see family and try to talk my dad into letting my Grandma get out of the funeral home.  She's been there 7 years.  Time to put her in the trunk of my car.

JohnDavid has started playing soccer.  He has played two games, one won and one lost.  He could care less.  He loves to play and tells everyone he is a soccer star.  He even played goalie for one half, but he doesnt like it much.  He gets bored and wanders off.  Hey, he's 5.  Could we expect anything else?

He got his dad a miniature pool table at the dollar store for father's day.  He got me a plastic golf set there for mother's day.

Speaking of father's day, I can't seem to find my dad.  I called the house yesterday and today, no answer.  Ive been out all day today so I couldnt call at work.  Hopefully I will remember to try the office in the morning before I leave for the dentist
